PHP Design with PhpED

Starting with version 5.0 PHP made a huge step towards true support of Object Oriented PHP Design. Working with either PHP 4 or PHP 5, PHP Designer needs an ability to easily browse through PHP Classes, PHP Functions and other PHP objects along with visual presentation of the hierarchy of PHP objects. This functionality is made available to the PHP Designer or programmer by PhpED's PHP Code Explorer tools.

• Go to definition. Select it to open file / to move the cursor to the line containing the selected function.
• Find next. Jumps to the next object relevant to the search. Active when the search field is not empty.
• Find previous. Jumps to the previous search result. Active when the search field is not empty.
• Sort by name. Select it to sort items in the Code Navigator window by name.
• Sort by definition. Select it to sort items in the Code Navigator window by definition.

PHP Design and code insight

PHP Design certainly assumes the use PHP Classes and it is only reasonable that PHP Designer expects full support of PHP classes in PHP IDE. For example, PHP Code completion should support nested classes and recognize instances of the PHP Classes in the code.
