XMLReader::readOuterXml

(PHP 5 >= 5.2.0, PHP 7, PHP 8)

XMLReader::readOuterXml — Retrieve XML from current node, including itself

Description

public function XMLReader::readOuterXml(): string

Reads the contents of the current node, including the node itself.

Parameters

This function has no parameters.

Return Values

Returns the contents of current node, including itself, as a string. Empty string on failure.

Notes

Caution

This function is only available when PHP is compiled against libxml 20620 or later.
