PhpED v3.1 updates now available! Our latest update is available for all current PhpED Advantage customers. Please visit our Customer Patches page to download. This release has several notable improvements, including a much smoother installation, support of the most recent PHP version (4.3.1) as well as all earlier versions from 4.0.6 to 4.2.3, improved CVS integration to help you manage your source code, and our award-winning debug functionality has been extended even further. PHP 4.3.1 is included in this update for local debugging. Don't forget to check out the improvements to our NuSOAP Web Service Wizard. PhpED Linux version users! Please note that the update patch for the Linux version is still in Beta, and will be available very soon. Building XML Web Services with PHP NuSOAP Web Services are the today's fastest growing approach to interprocess communication. Web services are used to provide tracking information for packages, pricing information for products, Google search capabilities, dictionary lookup, and many other resources. The SOAP protocol has become the standard way to access external information in web applications. NuSphere worked in conjunction with Dietrich Ayala to develop NuSOAP, the PHP SOAP4X library, which has been used in thousands of PHP applications in its first year of availability. The NuSphere PhpED NuSOAP wizard makes it easy for our customers to access a variety of web services. PHP-Editors is holding a PHP programming contest. The contest is divided into one for PHP programmers with less than 6 months experience and one for programmers with more than 6 months experience. The first group is asked to script a personal diary, using only php and HTML. The second group is tasked to sort many decks of jumbled cards back into order, using only three operations shuffle, cut and flip. All entries in by Monday, April 7th 2003.
