UltaSQL is ANSI SQL compliant server. It supports stored procedures, procedural languages, full and partial indices, UNION, UNION ALL and EXCEPT queries, referential integrity, rules, views and triggers, sequences, inheritance, outer joins, sub-selects, and much more.

Helping you bring all of your database services under one roof, UltraSQL has been optimized for the Windows environment. UltraSQL is a true native port of PostgreSQL database as against to implementations like PostgreSQL port available for Cygwin. UltraSQL runs natively on all versions of Windows, including Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 without any UNIX emulation. It could be used either as a service on Windows or as a standard application.

UltraSQL is supplied with an open API. It's possible to create applications with UltraSQL libpq and other development libraries, both for client and server sides.
SSL is supported for secure connections.
UltraSQL is supplied with PostGIS extension. PostGIS adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL database. With this extension PostgreSQL server can be used as a backend spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS). PostGIS-n-UltraSQL union provides the following functionality: simple types as defined by the OpenGIS Consortium (OGC); support for Well-Known Text and Well-Known Binary representations of GIS objects; fast spatial indexing using GiST; geospatial analysis functions; postgreSQL JDBC extension objects corresponding to the geometries; support for OGC access functions as defined by the Simple Features Specification.
UltraSQL is supplied with PgXML extension. PgXML is a package that contains simple routines for manipulating XML documents stored in UltraSQL.
Support of C and Java. C application interface and Java interface (Type4 JDBC driver) are included.
Unicode and international code pages are supported.
UltraSQL provides native interfaces for ODBC, C, C++, PHP.
UltraSQL is MVCC (multi-version concurrency control) based server.
Loadable extensions offer MD5 and other functionality.
UltraSQL supports user defined functions (UDFs) in a variety of languages including pl/pgSQL, pl/Perl, pl/PHP, C and more; user defined data types and domains which are useful for simpler custom datatypes based on existing ones; row level locks (it is MVCC based); backup and restore of data; hot backups (backing up while operating database).
