PHP Code Coverage in IDE

If you are using phpUnit to test your project PHP IDE will show you the percent of your code base covered by tests

How to setup Code Coverage in PHP IDE?

To setup the thresholds for Code Coverage user can navigate to Tools->Settigns->Misc and select Code Coverage tab there.
Setup Lower bound (red) and Upper bound(green) - these values will be used by PHP IDE to display the coverage. For example if there is a function with 10 lines of executable code with 7 of them flexed by the tests, the resulting coverage will be 70%. If this number is above Upper Bound it will be displayed in Green, if it is below it will be Red and in between will be shown in Yellow

How to check Code Coverage in PHP IDE?

PhpED provides Code Coverage automatically when phpUnit is used. phpUnit is tightly integrated with PHP IDE

When DBGSESID is passed in the URL php debugger will connect back to PHP IDE and show detected code coverage in Tools->Code coverage window.
It should be noted that Code Coverage is a stand alone independent feature and can be launched without phpUnit using, for example Tools-> Open URL or in LaunchPad or using "r" parameter with DBGSESSID (see this link for more info)
